The reverse of the Silver African Cheetah coin depicts the Rwandan seal. The seal contains a stem of sorghum, a branch of a coffee tree and a traditional basket are surmounted on a cog wheel with the sun above. Two typical Rwandan shields protect them; one on the right, the other on the left. At the bottom of the coin, the text “UBUMWE-UMURIMO-GUKUNDA IGIHUGU” are written on a ribbon, translating to: Unity, Work, Patriotism. “BANKI NKURU Y’U RWANDA” is inscribed from the mid-left side to the mid-right side. At the bottom of the coin, the text “AMAFARANGA 50 MIRONGO ITANU”, is debossed from the mid-left side to the mid-right of the coin.
