The text “REPUBLIKA Y’U RWANDA” is at the top of the seal which translates to: Republic of Rwanda. It means Bank of Rwanda. The text “AMAFARANGA 50 MIRONGO ITANU” is at the bottom of the coin, extending from bottom-left to bottom-right side.
